2025 Impact

  • Hosted the 16th Annual Michael D. Freeman Bocce Ball Tournament providing $12,000 to the Volunteer Lawyers of Birmingham and Legal Aid Society of Birmingham.
  • Raised $9,000 for school supplies for 2nd graders in Birmingham City Schools in collaboration with the Birmingham Bar Association, DA Danny Carr’s office and the Magic City Bar Association.
  • Provided more than $10,000 in scholarships to second- and third-year law students attending Alabama schools through the BBA Memorial Scholarship Program.
  • Awarded over $31,000 in grants and sponsorships to local nonprofits advancing access to justice, supporting efforts in areas such as incarceration and re-entry, immigration services and legal education.
  • Welcomed 35 new Fellows and 15 Life Fellows.
